'They placed a wreath upon his door."

What is the universal fate that we cannot evade? It's brought upon by God too, or at least that's what some of us believe. It's the resolution to our life and the point of our terrestrial life where we hold the most knowledge. It's a time of our journey where we stop having secular worries and, hopefully, evaporate to a better place... When it's described it sounds so good! Then why is death feared? for me, the fear is greater of having someone loved go, rather than myself, although I too fear the pain that might be injected in those who love me, if it was my fate to come. It's uncanny how a loved one's death inflicts more agony on, not the diseased one, but the one who cared for the lost soul. This is. I believe one of my most discomforting and  unsettled fears. I dread the the torture that will replace the soothing breath of my loved one. This is even though the one I'll forever love isn't necessarily with me, yet. So, is it just me, or are we all terminus-phobic?
